Phase I – Fixed Mechanics
- A pre-threaded wire is bonded in conjunction with customized, 3D-printed metal attachments on the lingual (palatal/lingual) surfaces of the teeth.
- This initial phase enables controlled movement and alignment prior to the introduction of aligner therapy.
Phase II – Aligner Mechanics
- Following removal of the pre-threaded wire, aligner treatment commences.
- Because the customized attachments remain intact, the transition to aligners requires no debonding or rebonding, minimizing chair time and optimizing treatment efficiency.
